Track and Trace trying to call but phone not ringing.

Please help me as I’m getting increasingly hacked off woth my phone.

My son has tested positive for COVID.

Track and Trace have now attempted to contact me FOUR times and my sodding phone isn’t ringing for any of them...

All it does is record the number and notify me I have an answer phone message,

I honestly cannot find anything in my phone settings to show WHY it’s not bloody ringing for them when it rings loudly for everyone else.

Is there a way I can contact them does anyone know.

I’ve tried Google but it’s as clear as mud. Can anyone help me?

I’ve notified everyone DS has been in contact with but am sat here stressing as I am 55 and overweight and don’t fucking want COVID....thanks for insisting all teens went back to school Boris you wanker. If I die I am coming back to haunt you.

It sounds like you have blocked them. Could you have a setting that blocks with held numbers?

You get 10 calls and then they’ll stop. They call every two hours until 8pm and will start again at 8am unless you pick up. Sounds like there’s a block on your phone somewhere. Check your settings. You cannot call them back

Have checked all my settings and the number is definitely getting through but ringing silently.

Thanks for the info regarding how often they call, I’ll keep the phone on me and look for their call this time.

You know they are calling you and that you need to isolate- why do you need to talk to them?

Try turning our phone off and back on again. Now you have their number can you assign it as a priority/ different ring tone?
Although whether T&T speak to you will have no bearing whatsoever on whether or not you catch it from your son

I've heard they call from a withheld number, have you blocked those?

Why do you need to talk to them if you've told everyone that you've been in contact with anyway ?

What do you want them to do further?

Unfortunately as much as I appreciate you're worried speaking to them isn't going to affect whether you get it or not. I wouldn't worry yourself. You've done what you need to do.

This happened on my daughter's samsung. There's an option in calls to turn on/off unknown numbers. The calls went straight to her answer phone. We turned this off and calls then rang. hope this helps.

Is the volume turned up and witheld numbers unblocked.

Track and trace need to speak with the person who is positive or appropriate adult, so advice can be given and they’ll also take details for school, bus company if appropriate, work etc for tracing and PHE why do people not understand that?

Hi there is a phone number to call I think it was 119 I had to call to arrange a pick up of a test. I also called when they sent me someone else test date then also sent me there test results. They are very helpful.
