How long are test results taking at the moment?

Waiting for a result which I’m certain will be negative, it’s more than 24 hours since I sent it back.

I posted mine back last week on Wednesday afternoon, and got the result 7am on Friday morning.

24 hours (drive through test yesterday, results today).

I think it is hard to say without saying your area. Family of mine in Wales had theirs back in about 18 hours. Mine at a similar time took 4 days (home kit) and I know someone in my area who waited a whole week (drive through!)

Drive thru in Kent, family of 3, about 32 hours.

In the SE went for test at 6pm on Tuesday received results at 8:30 today (Thursday)

I’m in the Home Counties. Drive through test 28 hours ago, still waiting for result. Hope we both get peace of mind soon!!

SE area 30 hrs

Am in SE London. Had test at 5 on Tuesday, got results at 8 this morning

Drive thru 8am Tuesday, result 6:30am Wednesday. Herts.

Kent- 5pm Tuesday

21 hours, Hampshire

They said results could take 72 hours so I was pretty pleased with 21.

Here in Liverpool, where we have the lateral flow pilot for random testing, it takes about 30 mins. Great service. Hope they can roll it out nationwide but I can't see how they can do that, logistically, our military isn't that big.

Scotland, 13 hours

Drive thru 12 noon yesterday. Results 8am this morning. Dad had only collected him from nursery at 11am yesterday very impressed.

Postal ones taking longer.

South Wales, had test 12pm Tuesday, result at 7.30pm today.

Drive through Derbyshire Wednesday 9am, still waiting 🙄

WMids: now 45 hours still waiting.

Test 2.30pm on Wednesday - drive thru
Result 7am this morning- negative (asked to test for Zoe COVID app).

Had test 11am on Wednesday. Got results at 6.30 am today. SE.

Got my results (negative) early hours this morning. Took 33 hours from time of test. The email arrived 3 hours before the text, so worth checking emails first

Dd had one 24 hours ago (drive through, home counties). No result yet but wasn't really expecting it today.
