Been trying all day to get a test delivered. No test centre within walking distance and I am feeling increasingly shit (started with fever and headache yesterday, this morning brought a loss of smell and taste, and now I have a cough and diarrhea.)
Tried online, it was all confirmed with the code they email you etc and then I got a second email saying sorry, your test is cancelled, try later or call us on 119. So I called 119 and she went through the whole thing and ordered me a test. All fine.
Then, I get a second email saying sorry, you won't be getting a test sent, sorry, try again later.
So I tried online again, no joy. Called again and was told that unless I can get to a centre they can't help. She wouldn't elaborate on whether this was a test supply problem or delivery problem or testing lab capacity problem but did confirm it was nothing to do with where I live but was a National Problem.
Obviously I will self isolate and will keep trying.
So the numbers will be going down nicely in time for next weeks announcement won't they?
