But it's not dissimilar to one I get after exercise, and I did run today. It's dry and tickly. At what point do I need to decide to get a test? Otherwise am totally well

When it becomes a continuous cough. Good luck.

A continuous cough means ‘not a crumb’. It doesn’t mean you can’t stop coughing.

It needs to be different to usual (if you usually have an asthma cough or whatever) so I’m afraid you just need to decide if you think it is usual for you, after excercise.

Can’t spell exercise.

@Mindymomo

a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
