Can I go to my parents on Christmas day?

Me and my son are carers for my parents. Between us we usually go in to make lunch and then dinner. They have a paid carer who does the mornings.

I'm guessing this means we could still go to cook for them on Christmas day ?

Yes. You can’t really leave them without food
Care of vulnerable people is allowed

yes of course!
If you are allowed in on other days of course you are allowed in on Christmas day.

carers are one of the exempt categories anyway.

The only thing that would concern me is the possibility of passing COVID on. Something to think about if your son is still at school

Son is at college still but he is super careful as I'm CEV. Plus he goes there most days anyway to do their washing, medication or food.

Thank you
