Isolation and family closeness

So a pupil of mine tested positive. Results yesterday. Test taken saturday. I'm now isolating but wondering how close or not to get to my family? It's been a week since the child was first contagious and I've been acting normally with my family. Do I continue or distance myself/sleep in another room for a week?

My son self isolated due to close contact at work, he stayed in his room for a week with virtually no contact to us. I read its 96% more likely to catch it in the first seven days, then 4% in the last seven days.
