Not only have you completely missed the joke but you are also wrong: there is no placebo - the oxford study uses the meningitis vaccine as a control. So total fail for you.

The trouble is there's whole load of people not joking but spreading dangerous lies about the vaccine. We have to be careful what we write/post.

I am a genuine participant on the Oxford vaccine trial and have had all the jokes made in real life (Although my main ears, are, to my knowledge, fine!)
