UK could get the new vaccine later than Europe due to Brexit

No data suggesting that at the moment, though there's no real data on the Oxford one just yet - I think it's due imminently. It does have the advantage that it doesn't have to be kept at -70 though, just at normal refrigeration temperatures.

It's likely that different vaccines may work optimally for different age groups too.

Your article is not correct.
No idea why Pfizer is such big news. There are 3 more vaccines that the UK have ordered larger amounts of.
