Did anyone get worse after a period of feeling well?

I tested positive for Covid 4 weeks ago. I felt pretty rough for the first 3 weeks but then I felt much better last week.

Since Friday I’ve been struggling with my chest again. I feels tight all of the time and a bit like I have a lump deep in my chest. I’m also breathless and I’m getting out of breath just doing normal household tasks.

Has anyone experienced this and did you need medical treatment? I’m just wondering at what point do I need to see my doctor?

It's very common I'm afraid. Worth speaking to your gp as they may be able to help w your chest. Other than that rest. You may find you get occasional flare ups of symptoms over the next few months.

This is how I feel. I tested positive six weeks ago. I was feeling much better until Saturday, when I started coughing even more than before, and I feel wheezy. I also have a tightness between my shoulder blades.

I’ve just spoken to my GP. He’s has prescribed a steroid inhaler and antibiotics. He said because I’ve had Covid I might have then caught a chest infection.

It’s so frustrating. I just want to be back to my normal self and be able to get on with things.

Sadly I think this feeling unwell, feeling a bit better and then feeling worse again seems to.be the norm. It happened to Boris. I don't know how Trump avoided it. I think I have read those who get it worse often get the unpleasant after effects.

Take vitamin D3.

I'm going through this, too. Positive test at the very end of September, sick for 2 weeks, better for 2, and back to not feeling well. It sucks and I'm sick of it.
