Anyone start off with a sore throat and hurting to swallow?

Been having hot and cold flushes all day and now my throat is sore and hurting to swallow and body aching all over. Sounds to me like the start of the flu but I know different people are having different covid symptoms so who knows anymore?

Have you taken your temp during a "hot" moment?

Hopefully someone more helpful will be along as I only think I may have had it back in March but I felt exactly as you describe at first. Felt really rough for two days, couldn't get out of bed, drank lots of lemsip and gargled with salt water which helped my throat, although I still had a bit of a sore throat for weeks after. A few weeks later I heard Matt Hancock, who had a confirmed case, describe the exact symptoms I had. Hope you feel better soon and hope it's not covid.

That's exactly how my suspected Corona presented in March.

My Mum only had a sore throat & got tested 2 days later as my Dad also started coughing. After about 4 days she started becoming ill & lost taste/smell & keeps feeling sick & Bad headache.
