Shops that open just for click and collect, would this work if they're in centres.

I live in a large city.
99% of the major shops that do click and collect are in the shopping centre.

So if people do that c&c, there's going to be a lot of people queuing in the centre all together than spread out in the shops if that makes sense?
Or am I over thinking this. Or imagining 1000s collecting Xmas stuff at once.
