What does lockdown mean for victims of abuse?

Since we are going in to lockdown tomorrow. Its made me think of how worse abuse against women and children could become in the next month.

I'm living with my ex and during 1st lockdown he has behaved sexually inappropriately towards me, threatened my child and made everything unpleasant. As it was warmer we were able to spend more time outside, but now that its colder and getting darker earlier, parks will close much sooner.

Libraries, cafes and other spaces will close.

We are people going to do to stay safe when locked in with their abuser?

Because I can't afford to leave. Council will put me in temp accommodation on the outskirts of london away from her school and my family. I cant drive, have no car.

I've contacted relevant services. They dont have the resources to help.
