DS is due to start on Monday. Instructor is interpreting current guidance as he should still work as he can't wfh. I haven't seen anything that says driving instructors need to close?
However, guidance for DS is that he should stay at home except for essential shopping, work and education.
Is a driving lesson "education"?
I was really hoping this would happen for DS he's been on the instructor's waiting list since he turned 17 in the Spring. He's been wfh since March, but doesn't really seem to have much to do (apprenticeship). We feel incredibly lucky that they've kept him on but he has literally hardly left the house since March. Partly his own fault becuase he's quite introverted and doesn't want to go out so the lessons would give him something to focus on and a reason to leave the house. I'm really quite worried for his MH.
So lessons, allowed or not?
