I've heard some corker of claims about covid just wondered what everyone else has heard.
*I've had the flu jab will infect you with covid
*the covid vaccine will insert a chip in you to track your whereabouts,
*No one is dying its all made up by the government

  • covid was started by 5G masts

Anyone else any offerings?

A Politician from Northern Ireland on the radio saying Catholic’s catch the virus more than Protestants.

Blerg · 02/11/2020 07:46

Masks give you lung disease.

SingingInTheShithouse · 02/11/2020 10:27

This morning from 2/different close longtime intelligent & sensible friends

Flu vaccine makes you more vulnerable to getting the bad version of Covid

95% false positives in Covid tests

🤦‍♀️

kimlo · 02/11/2020 11:42

more people die of the common cold

The tests just test for any old coronavirus

I was supposed to self isolate after coming back from holiday but I needed to go food shopping (she's married and her husband hadn't been with her)

The ear loops on disposable masks are made from bird legs. To be fair that one was dd2 and after a very confused converation I realised she had half listened to birds legs were getting tangled up in them, so I managed to convince her she had got it wrong.

@LeahDownTheLane

My lovely, lovely eighty five year old grandad just before the March lockdown wondered if COVID had something to do with all the rain we’d just had.
Omg I laughed at that bless him so cute
Galvantula · 02/11/2020 11:51

Do you not think it's just the flu? 🙄🙄

Flaxmeadow · 02/11/2020 11:52

That "lockdown doesn't work"

As long as people abide by it, lockdown very obviously DOES work. You only need to look at a graph from March/April/May to see that

Flaxmeadow · 02/11/2020 11:58

My lovely, lovely eighty five year old grandad just before the March lockdown wondered if COVID had something to do with all the rain we’d just had.

To be fair to your lovely grandad, weather conditions -humidity, air pressure, floods insects laying eggs etc- can affect the spread of some diseases.

workhomesleeprepeat · 02/11/2020 12:00

That mask wearing is the first step to authoritarian control 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

nibdedibble · 02/11/2020 12:05

That it was created in ex-Soviet labs funded by the Rothschilds where bats were sent secretly from all over the world to see what viruses would emerge.

Just the usual racist shit from the US really

TheDogsMother · 02/11/2020 12:14

5G and that the vaccinations will be to implant tracking devices in us all Confused

LemonDrizzles · 02/11/2020 12:37

"it's not as bad as they say because I do not know anyone who has had it." (from two different people)

"the real number of deaths is just 6% of the published number" (from a completely different person from the person above

BarbaraofSeville · 02/11/2020 12:40

The number of people who thought that (in England) that you were only allowed to exercise for one hour a day, only allowed to go to the shops once per week and only allowed to buy essentials, so no newspapers, Easter Eggs, alcohol etc.

MrsRexVandeKamp · 02/11/2020 12:49

That living in tier 3 Manchester was exactly like living in nazi occupied Germany in WW2. Of course it is 🙄

TheSilence · 02/11/2020 13:09

That the NHS clapping was created because at that time on a Thursday ‘they’ were activating the 5G masts which made a lot of noise, so the clapping and pot banging covered it up so people didn’t notice.

That ‘they’ messed with the weather at one of the recent anti lockdown protests so it was raining.

That covid will disappear if we just stop the testing and we’ll be able to carry on as normal then.

That the test gives you the virus, while also saying the virus doesn’t exist.

That the Tories have brought in mandatory mask wearing because they’re gradually bringing in Sharia law.

All seen on Twitter Halloween Biscuit

@BritWifeinUSA

There was a thread on here where a poster was told that her daughter can’t have her hair in a ponytail because it will swish about when she moves and could spread the virus.
This has reminded me. A lady at school who is now religiously putting her dc hair in a bun to minimise the chances of "the virus" sticking to it during the school day.
nibdedibble · 02/11/2020 15:16

I think putting hair up would mean less touching if face so a good thing? (Can you tell I need a haircut, it’s driving me mad especially when I have a mask on for some unfathomable reason.)

Bimbleboo · 02/11/2020 17:58

Haven’t RTFT so don’t know if already mentioned. But someone’s just started a thread letting us all know the ‘man-made’ virus has been......spliced with rabies Confused. And that’s a cracker.

FireUnderpants · 02/11/2020 18:07

'I don't need to wash my hands, do they look dirty?!' (waves hand in air) 'I wash them once in the morning and once before bed' (I make mental note to never eat any food offered again) 'it's probably being spread by something in the water, everyone washing is spreading it faster.'

Topseyt · 02/11/2020 18:46

I remember someone fretting over whether or not she should dry her washing outside in the garden because it might pick up the virus.

Mind you, I also thought that quarantining post and washing down shopping was OTT.
