My mum is 58 and has tested positive.

She’s on day 7 today.

She says her cough has been mild, she’s had a headache and she feels fatigued.

She’s been coughing up a bit of phlegm and said if she takes a deep breath she can feel
it on her chest.

I’m so worried about her. Can anyone tell me at what stage things can get bad?

I’ve understand that it’s around days 7-8 that things can take a turn for the worse if they are going to.

Really hope your mum gets well soon x

If she's feeling better on day 10+ then very unlikely to get worse again. That's the point when I would relax if I was worried about someone.
