Is this a suitable sanitizer in the gym ?

This is what my gym supplies for cleaning down the equipment between users. Is it suitable? There is no mention of killing viruses.

It's an alcohol based anti bacterial gel designed to kill bacteria, although it may also kill off some virus as well but no guarantee on that.

Soapy water is more effective at killing virus.
