UK is surpassing SAGE prediction of 85,000 more deaths before New Year

We are at the end of of October and seeing just under 300 daily deaths. This figure was what SAGE predicted for end of November.

This is really scary, I think we need to lockdown now.

I agree. But schools need to be included or it's pointless.

How long will we need to lockdown for? And what would your exit strategy be? And what long term plans would you have in place to the (living) people completely impoverished by lockdown? How would you cater for the countless thousands of children in the country who have no access to online learning? And lastly what would you do when cases start inevitably rising again after your lockdown is lifted?

Genuine questions.
