Neck gaiter face mask - hearing aid / glasses issue

My husband wears glasses and hearing aids so when he removes a standard face mask his hearing aids frequently get pulled off too.

He wants to try a neck gaiter one so it doesn't have to go round his ears. I wondered if anyone had come across a neck gaiter that when pulled up has a double layer of cloth around the mouth and nose area and then a single layer everywhere else. The idea being that he doesn't get too hot but provides more protection to others by having a bit more fabric where it matters. I would also like to find one that retains its stretch. Any recommendations appreciated.

You can get masks that fasten round the back of your head instead. Neck gaiters still go up over your ears to cover your nose and whilst they wouldnt pull his aids our when removing, i would imagine it could cause his aids to whistle whilst wearing.

Look for a merino wool one. They don't get too hot. Any will lose shape over time from being taken on and off.

I wear glasses and hearing aids and I find the ones that go round the head much better I've made some of my own but the bought ones I just put a bit of elastic fastening the ear loops together so I can wear them the same way.

Could try hygge bands.

My nan is in a dinosaur position, I bought her some from here with adjustable ear loops which extend far enough to go round the back of her head, and then using an ear saver to secure. Makes it easier than her having to tie or untie it constantly, she just sets the toggle to the right place and slips it over the buttons of the ear savers. She struggled with a fixed ear loop.
