Oh good a random youtube video, always a reliable source. No test is 100% and there are also false negatives. We are also able to extrapolate the number of cases from the number of hospitalisations and deaths which is where the problem with covid mostly lies, the rise in hospitalisations and itu admissions speak for themselves unfortunately.

WhyNotMe40 · 29/10/2020 23:06

Not this again. Seriously, switch your critical thinking faculties on, please?

Scroll down a bit to find the bit about false positives, with hyperlinks to evidence

Same scientist with Delingpole if it helps credibility:

The sensitivity and specificity rates are well documented - basically they have been focused on false negatives. Here is an article from the Lancet about it.... www.thelancet.com/journals/lanres/article/PIIS2213-2600(20)30453-7/fulltext

The fundamental problem with this false positive story is that a few weeks after cases go up a lot hospitalisations go up a lot and then a few weeks after that deaths go up a lot.

This guy declared the pandemic in the UK to be OVER a week ago...

How on earth would that help credibility?

CoffeeandCroissant · 29/10/2020 23:19

Déjà vu
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/coronavirus/4061881-We-must-stop-making-policy-based-on-PCR-testing

TLDR - it's bollocks from the same guy who a week ago said that "the pandemic is over" and falsey claimed that a hospital was nearly empty and the doctors were spending lots of time playing golf.

"Same scientist with Delingpole if it helps credibility"

The fact that Delingpole and Toby Young are two of the few people who are willing to amplify his views really doesn't help his credibility, no.
