My mum has just tested positive. She’s caught it at work (she thinks) where someone last week tested positive, although she doesn’t have contact with that person.
Sunday, my mum and her colleague both got symptoms and both tested positive.
She doesn’t know of anyone else at work that is positive yet.
But there is a woman who their work with who has just announced that her housemate has also tested positive so could this person potentially be asymptomatic and spreading?
I asked my mum if she’s been sticking to social distancing but she said at times people do get close to talk to her about work.
She said she had been hand washing and sanitising regularly but from what I’ve read, transmission is higher via aerosol and droplets than objects.
