Should I get tested or am I being a worry wart?

SIL got a positive test for covid today. DH was in MIL’s house (where SIL lives) Saturday afternoon and left Sunday morning. I’ve not been into direct contact with her.

DH has no symptoms, he is pretty hardy when it comes to catching cold IMO. This afternoon I seem to have developed a runny nose, headache, sore throat and keep having to clear my throat, so no cough as such. Trying to track down my sodding thermometer so I can see if my temp is up at all.

I’m not really sure what to do, any advice would be much appreciated. I guess normally I wouldn’t worry but I am 28 weeks pregnant.

No you should only test if you meet the criteria.

If I were you I would cough instead of clearing my throat. And then feel justified at getting a test. But I don’t have to go out to work so wouldn’t be an issue self isolating Until I got the result.
