What’s happening in the rest of the world?

British media seems to have a black out on how things are in the rest of the world. Any good sites/news outlets etc to follow to see what is happening. I feel like we’re saying “it’s all fine” despite it being shit and ignoring everyone else to try and “save the economy” over here.

Hi, download The Guardian app for free. It has live coverage from around the world.

Feel like with the awful scenes in Italy and France in the hospitals, this is still a media blackout over here

Don't be daft.

The Guardian - and possibly other papers too - has a daily live blog on international Covid news. Very easy to find such news if you want it. Much of Europe is in a similar situation to Britain with restrictions reimposed, so there's not really all that much to report.

Who do you suppose is imposing this non-existent 'media blackout' and why?

Just look at local Italian or French news on Google
