Tier FOUR?!

I'm in Liverpool where the good news is that the rate of Covid spreading is actually decreasing. Still very high apparently but nevertheless the infection rate is going down. However, I heard yesterday that if the rate hasn't gone down sufficiently by mid November then the government may well introduce Tier 4 which will close restaurants and non essential shops. Anybody else heard this? Won't that just be another full lockdown?

That's up to us really though isn't it?

No it really isn't up to us. If the last few months have taught us anything, a virus will spread whatever we do, it is entirely up to SAGE and their business mates what level of restrictions we are under.

We all took it seriously in March and April. People's behaviour behaved beyond all recognition, but we were still under lockdown well past the point when restrictions could have been loosened.
