I read these threads and the news trying to keep up to date with what’s going on and what we should be doing.

But I’m beyond caring. I want to care. But I can’t and I don’t anymore.

You also live in South Wales? I'm fed up too. I have health anxiety and it has been so bad this year but right now, it is literally the last thing on my mind bizzarely.

Bluewavescrashing · 26/10/2020 19:44

Yes 😔🙄

AuntieMarys · 26/10/2020 19:57

I'm trying to work out logistics for New Year. Given up.
It's all shit.

WankPuffins · 26/10/2020 20:03

Yup

Holothane · 26/10/2020 20:08

Christmas is keeping me going at the moment, I’ll worry about next year, after Christmas.

SocialBees · 26/10/2020 20:12

Yes! I realise I'm lucky just to be bored and nothing worse. But my god it is tedious now.

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 26/10/2020 20:12

Yep shit in Tier 3. Already talks about Tier 4 in my area.

Yesterday was sunny for the first time in ages. Parks packed, streets packed. What’s the point of being in Tier 3 if not everyone is complying. I am, but I’m bored shitless of it.

But what else is there? The only way over it is through it.

Rabbitholebonkers · 26/10/2020 20:56

Past caring. Still check on here though Wink.

Not even sure why I check to be honest. Anyone sometimes open the fridge repeatedly, to see,
If by magic someone’s placed some chocolate in there?

Well that’s what it’s like for me checking this board. I pop by to see if anything interesting has been posted.

So, get the virus and pass it on Hmm Not sure the point of this comment is. Its a virus. It doesnt care if you are bored.
pontypridd · 26/10/2020 21:07

I also check these boards like checking an empty fridge.

Of course Covid doesn’t care.

There is no point in this comment.

I just wondered whether anyone else was feeling numb to it all and beyond caring.

You’re not alone. I’m exceedingly anxious about the future (economically) but am so, so bored of it all. I’m fed up of not seeing people face to face, of not singing in church, of wearing masks, of being worried, of never being able to plan more than a week in advance in case someone has to isolate or the rules change or whatever, of being frightened to death of potentially passing on something that I probably don’t have to someone who may die. And yes, blah, blah, blah the virus doesn’t care that I don’t care etc etc but I DON’T CARE.

dudsville · 26/10/2020 21:10

I'm bored of it, but also I'm watching someone close to my family struggle with the infection. He's 35, reasonably fit and healthy, had a fever for over a week and is now hospitalised with pneumonia. Its not looking good. I know these cases are rare, but when you know of one personally it stops you in your tracks.

Sorehandsandfeet · 26/10/2020 22:08

I'm under 40, ended up hospitalised with pneumonia. I had started to feel the same, wanted life to go back to normal. Now I'd like to be able to walk around my house.

kittensarecute · 26/10/2020 22:12

Yes. Over it. My mental health is getting worse daily, I'm just wishing my life away quite honestly. I can't live with all these restrictions and rules and regulations anymore.

AlphaJura · 26/10/2020 23:59

Yes but it's winter and it was predicted things would get worse. When this whole thing kicked off, I just wrote off this year. I don't really expect to do anything this year. Didn't plan a holiday, haven't planned much else. We want to get married but there's not much point in even thinking about it at the moment. I just think, get this winter out the way and next year/spring things will hopefully be different.

Been through the whole rainbow of emotions.... it's not going away, just have to take it one day at a time.
