Half term and Halloween ideas for primary aged dc in tier2 (plus 2 teens who may or may not join in!)

Looking for inspiration for fun and different ideas for this week.....

Normally do trick or treat, but may stay in and do games instead....anyone know any good Halloween themed games?

I've brought a load of craft activities, colouring, playdoh. Planning on doing some apple printing, basically an apple cut in half dipped in orange paint to make a pumpkin print. We've also been making Halloween themed snacks.

Bobbing for apples! Maybe also let them tell ghost stories with a torch. Several communities are placing pumpkins in windows so kids can go spotting them and receive a small sweet from their parents for each one they see.

This is great. What about eating donuts on a string?

We are doing some craft as chosen by DS, on Halloween itself - fire pit with chipolatas and marshmallows, ring donuts on strings, glow in the dark balloons and sparklers.

We've looked up Halloween baking ideas - planning to make a spider web cake 🕷

I need to go back and pick it up and get the required ingredients today but there were lots of lovely baking ideas in the asda little magazine!
