What do you do with your groups of friends? Just general chitchat or wine? Are there some activities or games or something you can do together? For me and/or my teenagers, usually group of about five people.

I desperatelly need some inspiration with the coming winter. Thanks.

Quizzesre good.

I do virtual bellringing with my friends using a ringing app and zoom, but I can see that that might have limited appeal to non ringers.

My ds played pictionary over it. And one of his friends has played card games. I think it's probably okay for any board game/card if you have the board and pieces/cards in each household!

I've been doing online escape rooms via zoom with friends. We have enjoyed the ones on this website - www.trappedintheweb.com/

Works out very reasonably priced as just one person buys it and screen shares using zoom. This person does all navigating of the site, but puzzles are discussed together.

We also did a bake along in the kitchen, all cooked the same recipe at the same time.

fancy dress Halloween party with cocktails or mocktails and cheesy music

We decide on a recipe in advance, cook it for a certain time then all get together on zoom to eat it and discuss. Can also be done with cocktails.

My book club meets on zoom. A friend had her 50th party on zoom. She got one of those murder mystery packages and we were all assigned a character, got dressed up and played. Was surprisingly fun actually.

We find chat a bit difficult as you kind of need some structure over video otherwise everyone chats over each other.

We have done lists of quizzes, each household comes up with 10 questions of their choice.

We have included bingo as part of the quiz. Everyone has a card on their phone and then one person is the caller

Macmillan are also doing some charity evenings. The murder mystery is the next one we are doing. gamesnight.macmillan.org.uk

We're having a virtual Christmas party to replace our usual dinner together.

Each house cooks it's own 3 course dinner and sets up an iPad or laptop on the other side of the dining table.

We're about 20-25 in total so I will be splitting us up into groups of 3 households in breakout rooms in Zoom and then switching everyone around for each course.

Plus some kind of game so following this thread for possible inspo!

My friend has a monthly pickle club by zoom. They pick a recipe, sort the ingredients etc and then have a zoom session while they make it together in all the different locations.

We download and play games from jackbox.tv We host our game using screen sharing on Zoom, and then people join in via their phones. There are drawing games, quizzes etc. Worth a laugh.
