When is it safe to see my mum?

My mum has contracted coronavirus. She started showing symptoms exactly 3 weeks ago today.

She had a fever and she lost her sense of taste and smell. She did not develop a cough. She started to isolate as soon as she developed symptoms. She took a test and her results came back positive. She feels better now but still has no sense of taste or smell. Does that mean she is still contagious? She spoke to someone from the NHS who said that her sense of taste and smell won't come back for a while. Is she still contagious whilst she is still showing symptoms or not?

I don't plan on seeing her for a while yet anyway since I have a 7 month old baby but let's just say these two symptoms do seem to linger on, would you say I or anyone for that matter could contract the virus off her or not?

Sorry if this is a stupid question with an obvious answer, I just want to get a clear idea of how long it will be until I can see her again since she has been a massive help to me being a FTM.

Thank you in advanceSmile

I have read that taste and smell can take longer to come back.
She shouldn't be contagious now.
Not a stupid question at all.
