As with anyone my mental health is taking a battering and now Chris green said this on Twitter I won't be here this time next year if it goes on for years

They are both in tier three and the tiering system is designed to simplify the rules so everyone will find them easier to follow over the coming years. Off to a bad start...

I’m in a dark dark place too. Bad mental health issues all my life. Just scared to death. Don’t know how to deal with it tbh

But if it's rolled out first to HCPs, then the vulnerable and older, then front line, then everyone else... everyone else will be able to go about their business because deaths will be falling.

Appetite for measures that restrain normal human interactions is already fading. My optomism for this side of Easter is low, but come the spring, cases will naturally tail off as they have across the world when their spring came.

By the time we get to next autumn, there will be no desire for a repeat of 2020 and vaccine and treatment progress which have already come a long way in the past 10 months or so should make it unnecessary territory to return to.

Until then, there's no denying that the situation is crap. Keep doing what is avaliable to you, being busy and getting what daylight you can.

After tomorrow, I'll have nothing concrete on my calendar to look forwards to, so to keep me sane through November (A grim month most years), I'm drawing up a bingo sheet for my runs of things to do or spot so there is some kind of focus. December, I have a distance running challenge/ virtual medal and January is RED January.
Whatever floats your boat. Anything will do. Substitute books or films, whatever, but a bit of focus to keep plodding on through the immediate future until we get to brighter days. Always put something on the horizon to keep plodding on for.
