Following on from my other post I just wondered whether results are only received in “office hours” and I should now give up hope on receiving test results imminently?

It’s definitely not restricted to office hours. Dd tested last month and we got the results early hours of the morning (about 6am).

ThisMustBeMyDream · 16/10/2020 18:37

0008 was the last one we had.

Monkeytapper · 16/10/2020 18:37

Test at 11am on the Tuesday then results at 7.20a, next day, drive through in Darlington.

Both test results I have had have come late evening / night. 9.30pm and 10.15pm. One was this week, the other was May.

catchyjem · 16/10/2020 18:38

One of ours came through around 1am another at 3am and another at 10pm so I'm sure it can be anytime of day or night

mangomama91 · 16/10/2020 18:38

My daughter had one a few weeks ago. Sent it off Monday morning and we received it at around half 9/10 on the Wednesday

mangomama91 · 16/10/2020 18:39

PM that is

DobbieFreeElf · 16/10/2020 18:51

Thanks everyone! I won’t give up on an overnight result just yet 🤞

Ours took 3 days to come back (drive through test site). Tested 11am last Saturday, results received 11:30am Tuesday. The wait is awful!

GreyishDays · 16/10/2020 19:02

3pm, midnight and 6.30am.

GunsAndShips · 16/10/2020 19:21

Could be at any time. I had a middle of the night one.

NationalShiteYear · 16/10/2020 19:23

The texts are generated automatically as soon as the results are signed off in the lab. Most labs are working 24/7 with multiple runs per day, so could be anytime

DobbieFreeElf · 16/10/2020 20:19

@NationalShiteYear that is what I assumed but I just thought I’d check... I’ll keep checking my phone!
