Am I missing something because I'm sure the self-isolation rules have been in place since around Feb/March time.

It baffles me. It'll only make people still do what they like. :(
What's the point?

Rosehip10 · 15/10/2020 16:03

Hope she is suspended by House of Commons and then her constituents can do the recall process.

FlibbertyGiblets · 15/10/2020 16:03

I expect being telt by Nicola was felt punishment enough?
/sarcasm

Wtfdoipick · 15/10/2020 16:06

Self isolation guidelines were in place from the start the issue is that they could only fine for breeches quite recently ie it became law not guidance. Sounds like this case not being prosecuted is due to the timing of that change

The80sweregreat · 15/10/2020 16:06

To think I spent days stomping around about Dominic's antics back in May but it appears none of the rules were really that enforceable anyway!
Makes a mockery of it all.

beela · 15/10/2020 16:07

I can't believe she is arrogant enough not to have resigned yet.

HeyMacarona · 15/10/2020 16:09

There’s no need for anybody to self isolate if positive as here is the precedent. Carry on as you were.

Shea also admitted her ‘apology’ was scripted by the SNP.

EachDubh · 15/10/2020 18:32

Disgrace, stupid woman who, in other public facing roles, would be sacked for gross misconduct believes she should get to stay. She needs to go asap. No place for entitled idiots like her!

janeyloves · 15/10/2020 19:28

What a disgrace.

Oh that makes sense.

She still needs to be sacked.

WellyBootsAreYouFrom · 15/10/2020 20:18

She's a bloody disgrace.

Youandmeareluckytobeus · 15/10/2020 20:22

Sacked by who? She has had the whip removed so no longer represents the SNP. Only the public can vote her out when she next stands (unless she resigns). She is probably hoping that people will forget if she does a good job from hereon in.

dollychopss · 15/10/2020 20:36

And they wonder why us mere mortals don't comply

Gobacktothe90s · 15/10/2020 20:46

Surely the cases of people who were fined for similar can appeal their fines then?

starfish4 · 15/10/2020 20:56

Live well within restrictions here, but half wonder why the hell do I bother when there are people out there who really don't give a toss about others.

Rosehip10 · 15/10/2020 20:57

@Youandmeareluckytobeus
There is also this process

DeliciouslyFemale · 15/10/2020 21:01

Wel, that’s really going to encourage people to follow the law isn’t it? It doesn’t matter if it wasn’t law then, everyone know what was expected of anyone that felt that they needed tested. People aren’t going to say, oh that’s ok then.

hellsbells99 · 15/10/2020 23:52

This is disgraceful
