'We're also proposing an internationally recognised system, in which Britain would be a trailblazer, where tests and isolation take place prior to travel and after travel and would require no quarantine,' Mr Shapps said.
The first thing that annoys me is everything we do has to be trailblazing it world leading. Can’t we just be honest and say we’re doing our best with what we’ve got and not sound like a party political broadcast?

So one of the plans is to isolate, then fly and then go about your business. No quarantine after flying. Ignoring the huge risk of travelling through an airport and the flight. Mask or no mask, that’s where a lot of infections spread so swabbing people before we flight and letting them crack on will not help surely.

Don’t know what I’m asking, just needed to vent.

Where have you heard this? Would it be a test after entering the U.K.?
