Ballet Dancer or Cyber Security

Buckwheat80 · 12/10/2020 22:36

I'm trying to work out whether to pursue a career as a ballet dancer or in cyber security. Can anyone help me decide?

OP posts:
JM10 · 12/10/2020 23:23

I've just done it and it basically told me to do the job I'm doing, but gave it a different job title. Which is good, because I definitely do not have the figure to be a ballerina.

ANoTail · 12/10/2020 23:40

I should be an actor, according to that test.
To date, my starring moment on stage was when I bit a visiting priest during my Primary School Nativity.
Still, there's time yet.

frankie001 · 12/10/2020 23:57

Apparently I could work in healthcare. I already Work in healthcare!

twilightcafe · 13/10/2020 00:09

The reboot bot said I should be a copy editor. Which I was for 10 years Grin.

BSintolerant · 13/10/2020 00:23

@titchy sounds like you could manage the perfect piss up!

@DimidDavilby - brilliant. Grin

It seemed to be the top answer in mind which is bollocks - one of my more negative answers was the one about talking in front of others. Confused

Some not too silly things when I skipped the 'creative and media' and answered some more questions in the computing, technology and digital. None very appealing though. (It wouldn't have been able to get close to my actual job as it's specialised science stuff)

WankPuffins · 13/10/2020 06:18

They couldn’t recommend me any job category’s because of my answers.

Probably why The longest I’ve stayed in any job I’ve ever had is 6 months before jacking it in.

(There should have been the questions, “I hate other people” and “I hate working” - I would’ve strongly agreed with those).

mpsw · 13/10/2020 06:24

@Sunbird24

Apparently I could be a Royal Marines Officer - pretty sure you still have to be a man for that one...
Nope, open to all who reach the standard now.
WoodenFox · 13/10/2020 06:31

@DimidDavilby

If you can pull money out of your fanny *@DotheNextRightThing* I don't think you need a job
🤣🤣🤣
JacobReesMogadishu · 13/10/2020 06:32

I’d be a good archeologist or psychiatrist apparantly. I don’t have a degree in either subject and people I do know with degrees in those subjects have been unable to find work in those areas.

What a shit website.

PracticingPerson · 13/10/2020 06:42

I also got a suggestion of lots of arts careers, of the type that are currently out of work!

That quiz is insulting if you were really looking for work.

Spacemonkey2016 · 13/10/2020 06:51

Apparently anything from a seismologist, to a football referee, to a uni lecturer or a microbrewer.

I guess I'm difficult to place!

PhilCornwall1 · 13/10/2020 06:56

@nancy75

This is going to be my new job Technical architects help plan, design and build IT systems for clients I just need a few lessons in actually using a computer & I’ll be a natural! Grin
It's not all it's cracked up to be, especially if the client is a tosser. Smile
Coldwinterahead1 · 13/10/2020 07:02

Mine said I’d be good at conducting funerals. The way things are going I might retrain now I’m sure I’ll have lots of work.

AuntieStella · 13/10/2020 07:02

head chef, chef and cake decorator

I did not expect that!!!

Yes quite, the government is helping that sector grow Sad
emilybrontescorsett · 13/10/2020 07:12

I could never be a ballerina, I'm the wrong body shape.
I think working in a funeral parlour is a good career for anyone, always plenty of work.

RednaxelasLunch · 13/10/2020 07:25

Sports coach Confused

I'm the kid who hid in the changing room to try and avoid hockey.

No suggestions for my actual job sector Grin

DrMadelineMaxwell · 13/10/2020 07:30

I'd also be a great psychiatrist or archaeologist apparently. Or a teacher. Which is what I've been doing for 25 years.

midgebabe · 13/10/2020 07:31

Apparently fairground worker would suit me
?!?

nancy75 · 13/10/2020 07:37

Fairground worker is a very niche profession! Don’t you have to be born in to it?

MoonriseKingdom · 13/10/2020 08:09

Microbrewer (!) - feel like a pretty risky thing to be taking a punt at

Higher Education Lecturer - without any idea of my existing qualifications seems an unhelpful suggestion

Sadly think I’ll stick with healthcare Grin
