Working with children who are isolating and ready to pack it all in

Basically as the title says really.
How is anyone supposed to get any work done with isolating children at home. One asd and one toddler. It's impossible but I'm expected to do it and work has been crazy busy today. I have logged on at 7am and not stopped as it's been problem after problem.
My children need me and I just feel under so much pressure.
I have two meetings this afternoon and I just can't concentrate or remember what I'm supposed to do with two high needs children in the background.

Please give me some tips and save my sanity.

Hi there, just wanted to offer my support and tell you that you’re so not alone. I don’t have the answer I’m afraid but I know exactly how you feel and I only have one at home at the moment. One of my primary age sons is at home with me for 2 weeks as there is a positive case in his class and I am struggling with the fact that once again I’ll be trying to work alongside supporting him with schoolwork plus try to find time to study for a course I’m now on. I had to work all evening yesterday just to catch up on things from yesterday so I know it’s going to be a really full on couple of weeks. I’ve been awake since 3am feeling really anxious and thoroughly fed up with it all.
I think you just have to be realistic and accept that meetings aren’t going to necessarily go to plan at the moment and you’re not going to be able to meet the same standards at work as you would without all this going on. It might look like other people are coping but I think some are just better at pretending!
Can you take the odd day off just to have a breather?

If you were WOH you would have to take leave.

Can you do that?
