Test results timeframe

One of my DS had a test on Friday at a testing centre. The results still haven’t come through. Does the weekend count for the 48hr window? How long have you been waiting?

Ours was a home kit. Had to wait 96 hrs after we sent it back. ( lead time is 72 hrs app ) I chased on the 4th morning. Not particularly helpful tbh

Just had test results back negative! “Normal” life can resume...for now good luck to everyone else

Just received ours (negative) from Friday evening so 73 hours....hope everyone else gets results quickly.

Central Scotland here, test took under 20 hours to come back at the weekend.

we are still waiting we were 4pm on friday too in Cardiff test centre
its been 78 hours now

Hertfordshire and been waiting 60 hrs and counting. Rang the number but she just took loads of details, couldn't actually say whether they had got the dark thing registered in the system so I'm not sure what taking all the details will achieve... Until I read this thread I was convinced they had lost it tbh. Hmm

Darn thing that was meant to be. That was from a drive through. I have had to have one there before and it only took a bit over 24 hours then, and that was what the guy said to expect on Saturday, I can't believe it hasn't come through yet.

In Scotland tested on Sunday morning result by 8am yesterday. Very surprised at home quick it was

Mine has come back negative after 70 hours but haven’t had a notification about DS yet and his test was at the same time.

Just to update, came back negative after 69 hours. After i had started cancelling everything I was supposed to do today. Good but if shouldn't take that long!

Ours came back negative after about 60 hours. However we have now found out there is a positive case in ds1s year group at school so he is missing more school.

Update here - test into postbox 10.30ish Monday morning. Results back about 3 hrs ago (negative). So 34 hrs ish ? Now I'm quite impressed by that.

Scotland here.. 4.5 days and it's positive.. No wonder its spreading!!
