Covid test, I gag easily- will it make me vomit?

Just that really. Going into my local hospital for a biopsy under general anesthetic and despite not showing symptoms I need a covid test, everyone who enters does. I’m dreading it more than my actual biopsy because anything touching the back of my throat makes me sick and gag. Any first hand experience or advice?Grin

Had the same last week. Covid Test and biopsy (but was done under spinal due to Covid). Covid Test wasn’t as bad as I imagined even though it did make me gag slightly. I also gag and am sick easily and had taken a towel with me in the car just in case!

I gag easily too and didn't find the test too bad- it did make me gag but certainly not enough to make me throw up.

I had one today. I gagged too but not enough to throw up. The swab up the nose was weirder!

I've had to have a covid test regularly for work and it does make me gag (not vomit) but speaking to the people carrying out the tests, I think everyone gags!
