Oxfordshire is on red alert but what does that mean

Oxford and Oxfordshire are on red alert according to the local press, but I don't know what that means? Is it lockdown next? Will the Monday announcement include Oxford?

Any info at all?

Would presume red alert means if cases increase further local lockdown measures next.

Depending on number of cases per 100k the next tier up is not mixing with other households indoors. I'm in Stockport which has been red for weeks but we've only been in additional measures for a couple of weeks. Now on 245 cases per 100k.
