Toddlers and coronavirus - how did it affect yours?

If you have a toddler or baby with confirmed covid please can you tell me what symptoms were displayed, how they were throughout etc?

Waiting on test results but two year old looking really peaky and it's obviously not making me very happy! We were in contact with a confirmed case.

I was confirmed and spent two weeks in bed thinking I was dying.

The kids (one 18mo at the time) just had a bit of a cough, and a couple of unsettled nights. No fever. If it wasn't covid I definitely would have sent them to school/nursery.

Sorry to hear about your experience (hence the username?!) I'm glad the children were okay x

My (at the time) 17 month old had a runny nose and a bit of cough. He ate and slept well, he played,. Only on the first day of symptoms did he seem out of sorts. I've seen him sicker with other things he had picked up at nursery.

Me on the other hand...that was a whole other ball game (thanks for almost killing me with your germs, DS! lol)

Sorry to jump on a thread a couple of months along now. What happened with this in the end ? Just asking we have been in close contact with a positive case last Friday, we’re isolating anyway but today Ds 2 has got a temp of 38.2 it comes down with calpol and nerofen, his been non stop today his normal hyperactive self, drinking, eat, trampoline etc no cough , no loss of taste or smell, none of the symptoms after from temp but even there he had a temp at 11am- 38.1 was 37.5 at 11:52 and his temp only just gone back up at 4:30 to 38.2 gave him neurofen just checked his temp and we’re back down to 37.6 ?

You need to get him tested then.
