Are people allowed to travel to bubbles in lockdown areas?

Do single parent bubbles still count in a lockdown area or is all visiting other households banned?

Just pondering what might happen in a national lockdown and if I can see family who dont live anywhere near me.

Depends on your area.
No for me but in the next county you can form bubbles as long as it’s within the same county.
Search your area on gov.uk or google your local council, there will be your local lockdown rules on there.

I’m in the NE and we’re allowed support bubbles. I don’t think I’d cope again alone with DD without being able to see my parents.

Thanks both.
pink we're not in lockdown yet, neither are my family in their county. Who know what the month will bring though.

tothe yes, while I'm prepared to go it totally alone until next spring it would be nice if we can see someone before then.

I’m in NE England so not in lockdown, but the extra restrictions we have at the moment don’t prohibit still seeing your support bubble, thankfully! Wouldn’t want to go back to being on my own for weeks again like in lockdown, it was ridiculous that the government didn’t think about people who live on their own sooner.

In Wales you can only have a bubble within your own lockdown area. This is an arse as I live in the corner between 3 areas all in lockdown and all my daily live in one of the other two. I have essentially been condemned to no social interaction again. Not even outside.

All my daily? All my friends and family.

Bubbles are not families anyway

Bubbles are one single person who lives alone joining with one family

Bubbles can’t be two families

"Bubbles are one single person who lives alone joining with one family"

No it is a one adult household joining with another household. There doesn't have to be a person living alone.
