Well who said it? And where? Context needed!

I’d be first in the queue. I only missed out on the vaccine trials as I wfh and they wanted front line workers at that time.

Great if it happens but there's been so much conflicting "news" about when a vaccine will or won't be available that I'm not holding my breath any more. When it happens I'll be delighted and at the front of the queue.

I dismissed this 'news' when someone posted it the other day. But I am reading numerous reports about this now. In addition, Canada and the European Union's health regulator are now undertaking rolling reviews into the data gathered so far. This is to speed up the authorisation processes once enough data has been collected to prove a vaccine is safe and effective to start vaccination programmes. I am also aware CCGs are preparing for mass vaccinations. I think we are so very close to these vaccinations starting.

I've also read that children are not included in this mass vaccination programme initially, and that they will be the last and that there is no rush to vaccinate them.

I'm vulnerable so as soon as I am invited to have it, I will be there.

Oh my gosh please let this be true

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 03/10/2020 12:35

I read it as, they’re speeding up the approval process and making plans for a really quick mass vaccination programme should the results of the trial be good but as far as I know we don’t yet have evidence it works?

SpeedofaSloth · 03/10/2020 12:36

I hope it's true.
