Has anyone tested positive and had a change but not a loss in taste or smell?

The rules state that you need to self isolate and get tested if you experience either a change or a loss in your sense of taste or smell. I haven't heard of anyone having a change in taste or smell though. Only a loss. There's no reason for my question.... I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced a change but not a loss?!

I lost my sense of smell. When it came back it was changed so I can see how it might be a symptom. It’s still not right (or taste) almost 6 months later.

I fell ill in March and lost my sense of smell
But didn’t think much of it and I wasn’t leaving the house so didn’t really notice a lack of smells plus I was quite ill. However when it returned a couple of months later I noticed I could smell things very strongly and also occasionally get phantom smells

I had a change in taste for a few days but no other symptoms so I just waited to see if anything else would develop. It went back to normal and nothing else happened so I'm presuming not Covid.

The change was a very strong minty sensation in my mouth. I googled it and couldn't find out what could have caused it.

It was only after it had gone that it dawned on me that maybe it classed as a 'change' in taste (I had always focussed on the 'loss' of taste part of the Covid symptoms) but by then it had gone.

I had covid in April and had an enhanced sense of smell - cooking smells made me
Vomit and I could smell flowers on the other side of the road for 2 months afterwards

By the way, if anyone reading this can relate to the strange minty sensation, do tell me what it was! It was unrelated to drinking peppermint tea or cleaning my teeth.

By the way I tested postive so this was definitely covid

I’ve had a much enhanced sense of smell since about March. I had a Covid antibody test and it came back negative, so I guess it’s unrelated to Covid.

I can’t bear the smell of deodorants, perfume, scented candles, fabric conditioner, amongst other scents. My chest gets really tight and I can’t breathe. I can smell male deodorants at some distance - walking down the street! I long to lose my sense of smell.

Mine was a 'change' in that I tasted less than normal, but not nothing. So I guess that's what it means.
