I've just frightened myself ...

Sorry, I can't stop asking Covid questions at the minute.

I tested positive on Sunday after having some symptoms which began last Thursday. I felt a bit rubbish for a few days but now I feel mostly fine. I've just read some really frightening articles (why do I do this to myself?) about how people can seem fine and then take a sudden turn for the worse at days 7-10 and end up in hospital or worse.

Has anyone had experience of mild symptoms that then get much worse? I've really frightened myself, as if I'm just waiting for this to happen. I'm 36, but my BMI is 36 too so I know that will work against me.

My sister had quite bad symptoms which became really very bad at day 10. But she avoided hospital and is fine now. (She is a nurse and her work wanted her to go in but she didn’t want to.)

I had it with a bad fever on days 2 and 3 and it had disappeared for the most part by day 7, leaving aches and tiredness.

No, everyone is an individual with this. Many many people just feel shit for a few days then fine after that.

I believe I had it (in March when they weren’t testing then) and wasn’t very unwell until day 6 or 7 then went down hill for 3 days before feeling better again. 3 others I work closely with also had it at the same time and followed the same pattern x

Have you got a pulse oximeter? If not you can order one on amazon and it will give you peace of mind that your oxygen levels are ok.
