I haven't heard of a connection with migraines.
I read that from around 50 there's a gradual decline in the skin's ability to synthesise vitamin D from the sun.
To the poster who just joined, there was a longer thread about studies showing that people with good levels of vitamin D have less chance of catching Covid and a better outcome if they do. About 50% less chance of catching it.
Studies came from Europe, Ireland, India early in Lockdown. More recently one in America and Israel.
It's important to take K2 with Vitamin D. A few places sell them together. Earlier in this thread, a poster gave her nutritionist's advice on dosage. If you are overweight you need to take more than the daily recommendation. If you are deficient, and it's best to assume you are in the UK in winter, you need to take a loading dose. Perhaps you could have a quick online call with your GP to check what they recommend. In case you are on medicine which reacts. I think I read that people in blood thinners/warfarin need medical advice before supplementing. Not sure, as I'm not on them.
