Hi,

I am 30 weeks pregnant, i also fall into the BAME category. As yet i havent been told about how much Vitamin d i should take although its recommended on the NHS website. Does anyone know what is allowed during pregnancy?
Before lockdown at the beginning of my pregnancy i was taking a high dose. But just taking prenatal vitamins now. Not sure if its enough.

Nhs says you can take up to 100ug (4000IU)

Do not take more than 100 micrograms (4,000 IU) of vitamin D a day as it could be harmful. This applies to adults, including pregnant and breastfeeding women and the elderly, and children aged 11 to 17 years.
