My DS caught it from his teacher.

TheGriffle · 26/09/2020 09:18

My sister had it back in March (tested positive for antibodies) she thinks she caught it in school (secondary teacher).

georgedawes · 26/09/2020 09:25

Thanks, I hope they're both doing OK now.

At the gym. Was otherwise working from home at the time.

Waitrose.
During Lockdown, it was the only place I went.

georgedawes · 26/09/2020 09:44

How close were you in Waitrose to anyone @DameCelia? That sounds accusatory and I don't mean it to at all, just wondering if you felt you were crowded at all.

School

Ontopofthesunset · 26/09/2020 09:49

I got it before lockdown and we're in London so it could have been anywhere - was at the theatre in the week before just before they were closed, was travelling on public transport, in restaurants, pubs and in local shops etc. My husband got it from me and our two young adult sons didn't show any symptoms at all.

Porcupineinwaiting · 26/09/2020 09:57

From a colleague. I had a meeting with him a few days before he developed symptoms then I started a few days after that. But that was late March so really it could have been from a whole range of places.

I work in a hospital. Poorly for a month, still recovering now.
Went to corner shop
Went Aldi
Take your pick

Full ppe at work . Face mask even before we were told to wear on.
Did all the space- face - hand washing.

DameCelia · 26/09/2020 11:46

Not close to anyone at all @georgedawes, but as it is aerosol spread I could have wLked through droplets 🤷‍♀️

elastamum · 26/09/2020 11:49

From a friend who came down with taste loss just after we had lunch together 2 weeks before lockdown. She caught it from her daughter who had been skiing in Italy.

I understand, just shows the 2m guide is not foolproof!

Never mind the fact COVID doesn't spread in schools.
