Do the new mask rules apply to children?

Masks arent mandatory in shops for children under 11 which was clarified when the rule was announced. The new rule about masks to be required in hospitality settings and taxis didnt specify whether young children were included in this or not?
If they are mandatory whats types of masks have you been getting and where from? My 5yo DS has some sensory issues where clothing in concerned, i tried the blue surgical mask on him but it was far too big and he hated the feel of it

The entertainer had loads of kids masks when I went by the other day if you think a particular character or pattern might help. I’m not sure if they have them online too.

That said I don’t think any of the exemptions have changed but I understand it would be reassuring to know you can do it if absolutely needed.

@Cornettoninja thank you. We don't eat out often but I'd hate to turn up somewhere and be refused because the children didn't have a mask
