Negative test but another household member still awaiting result- can I go to work?

As title really.

My negative test came through overnight but still waiting for DS test result, he was tested at the same time.

Can I go back to work or do I need to wait for DS's result too? Rest of family will obviously continue to self-isolate anyway but not sure whether I need to or not.

I think you need to wait for all results as your ds could be positive and you could be incubating it

No, you have to isolate until all members of the household who have/had symptoms have had a negative result back.

You need to wait. I had to do this too. It’s a pain, but you need to know for sure that DS doesn’t have Covid. Attached is from NHS website, on ending isolation.
