I wonder how long households will have to separate for?

Obviously this announcement hasn't been made yet but we all know it will.
I wonder how long they can expect to keep households separate? Weeks... months?? The virus won't go away and we won't be fully protected without a vaccine but how long will keeping everyone separate be the answer for?

Gove has already said today that the rule of 6 is staying.

They're not planning to keep households separate. Stop speculating and trying to make people scared.

You can mix households just not in numbers larger than 6. Unless you're in a local lockdown.
