Did anyone else try to get tested in Chippenham yesterday?

Booked a slot for my two year old. I had to work so husband takes 2 year old and 3 year old on 90 minute drive to chippenham testing centre. He queued for 1h15m and was turned away without a test.

Turns out the website glitched and loads (maybe 100 or more people) were able to book for the one test that was available.

Such a long time in the car for such little boys. We aren't going to bother now and will just isolate instead.

No, but my friend lives near the site and said it was absolute carnage traffic wise, much more so than it has been so the glitch explains it. How frustrating though.

I didn't realise about a qr code but there was an appointment confirmation screen
