What are infection rates and transmission rates of Covid like in primary schools in your area? I know it’s hard to be certain but have you noticed cases increasing within peer/ year groups etc. I am pretty certain that around my area transmission rates and cases are picking up momentum amongst secondary school children but not sure about primary. We have had a few cases of Covid amongst kids at primary, but highly unlikely they caught it from each other upon returning to school, as they were in the first few days back

Theres been cases in neighbouring primary schools.
And theres been a case in the attached secondary school that closed most of one year group.
So it feels very close at the moment. But thankfully hasn't effected my DC directly.
At school they're doing a lot of gentle emotional welfare type things.
I had a very weird conversation with DS's teacher when I phoned to talk about his particulat academic challenges only to find that they arent doing any academics for him to be challenged by!
