Haven’t received my results

Hi

I had a test at a drive through centre on Monday at 12.30 pm, the man said I would receive my test that evening.

Still nothing.. everyone else I’ve known who’s been tested received results in two days.

NHS website states they shouldn’t take longer than 72 hours .. usually 48 for a drive through test.

Has anyone experienced this ?

I had to ask for a new test kit as I did the first one wrong, I’m wondering if they forgot to register the second kit or something. And only register the first one which I didn’t use and was disposed of

Also have called the help line and they won’t even take calls so I can’t chase it up

Haven’t been waiting quite as long as you OP (had a test Tuesday morning at drive through).

Was told the same though to call after 48hrs if no result. And like you 119 just hang up. Lots of people on Twitter experiencing the same.

Yep over 48 hrs here too.

DH had his at more or less the same time as you at a walk in centre, he's still waiting as well.

We did DS's test Weds AM, they said expect 72hours. Same place was 48 last week- it's sliding out as volumes increase, no point chasing until end of the day at the earliest.

Yup- we're also up at over 50 hours and still waiting. Infuriating

There is a bbc new article saying people are waiting longer for their results.

Tested at a drive through at the weekend. Took 4 days to get the results. Someone on another thread was waiting for 10!

It's crap. Don't give up hope though!

They've removed the ability to chase results. There must come a point if the swabs wait so long before testing they can only be issued as a void result anyway...that's what's bothering me

Looks like I’m not the only one in this position then.. just concerned that by me voiding the first test ( they disposed of it and gave me a new test ) that they maybe didn’t scan the second test or something and I won’t end up with a result at all

Over 48 hours for us too. Was hoping to get kids back to school tomorrow but not looking good

It’s safe to say I think I am not getting these results. Complete joke good job I am working from home and not relying on these to go back to work etc.

Is anyone else still waiting ?
